Lets Get Organized

I started re-organizing/decorating my bedroom. I finally got a bedroom set like two months ago and my room is starting to come together but my biggest problem is ORGANIZATION! I have SOO much stuff and I feel like I have NO room for any of it. Good organization plays a huge role when your trying to get things into order and organization has never been my strong suit. I've been taking the iniative in organizing - starting with my closets!

I'm sure many of you have heard of The Container Store. If you haven't, its a store completely dedicated to ORGANIZATION!! I've checked out their website a few times and always found some things I wanted to get but unfortunately never did. But recently, I purchased some plastic shoe boxes. I have to say this was the BEST investment towards organization I could have made. Before purchasing the plastic shoe boxes from The Container Store, my shoes were kept in their original "paper" boxes - creating a mountain of shoebox chaos! When picking shoes, I'd have to either look at the picture on the box or I'd have to completely take the box out! With the new plastic shoe boxes - they are clear, one size and stackable! You can't get any better than that! Below is a picture of the plastic shoe box... They are definitely affordable (case of 20 @ $25.80 - on sale now) and will create more space, protect shoes and less dust in your closet!

Another good investment - (something I haven't purchased but is definitely in the investment book) are the Huggable Hangers! They are SUPER THIN (1/4"), covered with velvet and create so much more space in your closet! I haven't had the chance to experiment with these hangers yet but someone I met on jury duty told me they are the best addition anyone can add to their closet!! (She actually gave them out as Christmas gifts!)
