My apologies for keeping those of you that actually check out my blog waiting... Life has been very busy for me lately - SURPRISINGLY - considering when I was listed as "in a relationship" that wasn't the case!! LOL but I'm back and I think I have a few things I wanna blog about... I'd love to talk and get some feedback on "having a relationship and how your family's opinion influences your decisions", I want to share with you some of my FAVORITE restaurants and I wanna blog about what friendship means to me! So those are a few of the things you can look for in the next couple of days...
Right before the weekend starts I normally do a "Weekend Forecast" but unfortunately time slipped away and before I knew it, it's Monday! So, here is my Weekend RECAP!!
Friday, I attended a party with my bestie, Pumpkin Pie and my other friend (also PP's cousin) Trice! The party was a pre-reunion gathering for Michele (pumpkin pie) b/c her High School Reunion was the next day! We went to a spot called E Savoy Lounge in Flatbush. Considering Flatbush is known to be the "hood" and the spot was located in the BOONIES (lol) - it actually was pretty decent. It was very spacious, nice layout and a decent crowd. I ended up getting home at 5 in the morning - so I guess you can say I had a good time! lol
Saturday I was up about 7 ish... I was up and on my way to meet with Michele to go and get our hair done (our weekly routine) - we never miss a beat! I love picnicking... its actually my NEW FOUND LOVE... considering its relaxing, inexpensive, and fun to lay in the sun, listen to music and chat with your friends or significant other or potential significant others! So the plan was to picnic with my Jet Cakes and Pumpkin Pie... but it ended up just being me and Jet b/c pumpkin pie got sick :-( but we still had fun! We made pb&j's, brought capri suns, chips and cookies! I purchased some ipod speakers for $10 bucks at Radio Shack (they weren't the BEST but they did their job for $10 dollars!) and packed my picnic basket! Prospect Park was so beautiful on Saturday! Lots of people filled up the park either to tan, read a book, make music or spend some quality time with friends/family! If you've never been on a picnic - you should definitely try it! Some of our other friends ended up joining us for fun under the sun until it started getting a little nippy and we retreated to the warmth of our homes! Saturday night I went out with some friends to a graduation party. We went to Patio Lounge in Bk. I must say the bartender made a pretty good Malibu Baybreeze!! After that I went to meet with another friend at a house gathering! TALK about a busy Saturday...Sunday, I went to a bbq in Highland Park with my bestie and Trice.
I have to say, it's Monday and I'm EXHAUSTED!! lol... I don't think I've ever done so much in one weekend but I must say I enjoyed every minute of it... Below you'll find some links to the places I visited over the weekend!!
